LUST LIST-SEPTEMBER

Thursday, September 27, 2012

September is almost over, I am really excited for October: a month that I hope will bring in positive changes in my life. What if the month is almost over, a girl can always dream of owning pretty stuff any time right ?.

1. A good perfume

Yes, as much as people speak about importance of fragrance in one's life I am still stuck in the deo age. Though I am happy with my Dove cucumber and green tea deo, it doesn't manage to give that lingering smell. No, I don't have a signature smell (Just the yucky sweaty smell) #desperateexagerativemuch. It's time to invest in some pretty flower fragrance. My top pick:

 Body Shop Moroccon Rose Perfume.
Couldn't find the pricing info in any of the sites. You can find more information on this EDT from Body Shop

Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Eau Perfume - 100 ml(For Women)

Original price:Rs. 2250. You can score this perfume at a discounted price of Rs. 1913 from Flipkart.com

PS: Perfumes are freaking costly, and yeah!!!I finally invested my hard earned cash in Elizabeth Arden EDP

2. Ballerina

I own a pair of 'my foot' pretty pink ballerinas, but poor little soul has being tortured heavily and is on the verge of giving upon me, read:tear and wear. Initially I was looking out for ballerina from the same brand, but they are no where to be found. Jove has some interesting patterns I would have invested in one if not for the size issue. Last time I bought a Jove wedge in size 6/39 It was too loose for me . My friend who is a size 40 could easily manage to glide in em. So, there you go Jove has some serious size issues. My top picks (CATWALK):

3. Books

Back in college, I used to read like crazy, a book a day( no, not engineering books). Iv lost touch with the literary genre and I am trying hard to kick back the lost habit. The last book  I read was Immortal of Meluha (that's a book). I have picked up something from Flipkart and here it is

Book: Summer in the City
Publishing House: (Paperback)
Author:  Robyn Sisman
Publisher: Plume Books (20050201)
Price: Rs. 762
You can score a copy of this book at a discounted price of Rs. 686 from Flipkart.com

4. John Frieda Frizz free shampoo

I have been eyeing John Freida frizz free shamppoo and conditioner for quite some time now for 2 reasons
1. It claims to eliminate my biggest enemy:Frizz
 2. Good reviews.
I am a sucker for good hair products and any thing that claims to eliminate frizz is an instant hit in my list.

5. polki earring

I have by BFFs wedding coming up and earrings play a big part in dressing up. I seriously feel earrings can make or break an outfit. It's drool from the moment I saw these drop dead gorgeous polki earrings ./ I know it would look good on my ears and add that zing to my outfit

6. Flat tummy

Seriously, it's not a materialistic thing. Flat tummy still makes a cut in my wishlist. Finding an excuse not to hit the gym everyday morning doesn't yield flat tummy #notetoself

7. Oven

Iv caught baking bug, and you clearly don't have an idea how much I am itching to bake my own cake. Up until I can lay my hands on this beauty, it's just mug cake for me:(

8. More ME time

I love my Femina, cuppa of tea and lazy lazy days, but sadly I am not getting enough time for myself. I find my days short and nights shorter. I badly want to pack my bags and go somewhere and yes MR. G, I am not taking you along.

I always wanted to visit the dainty little cottage from where Shaan sings Gum sum ho Kyon...and that big tree near the cliff edge...It's my idea of my world...

9. Quirk box tote
I found this super kitch Qirk box tote here for Rs.1150. Aaaw...this tote goes straight to my wishlist for multiple reasons
1. I don't have a decent tote. The one, I am using at present is transparent Horn ok please tote
2. I always wanted a good canvas tote and kitsch is more my kinda style

10. Makeover

It's long long due, I am waiting for the right opportunity to get that hyped makeover. I have been screaming makeovers from the rooftop for the past two years and the moment I sit on the hot seat I chicken out, and do my regular plain jane layer-burgundy boring duo. This time, I am gonna be brave and for once listen to Mr. Stylist
